Who loved Dawyck in all its seasons
Not a candidate for Jude’s current Bench Series, but she might like it anyway! More on Dawyck later when I catch up with my blogging backlog.

What a lovely setting for a memorial bench. I’m sure that Jane would approve. 🙂

I’m sure she does – maybe she even chose it!

I like how even with the grass mowed down so low it’s still so verdant!! Gorgeous. 🙂

Everywhere is beautifully green at the moment, but you can’t get that colour without lots of rain! My sister was up recently from London and she was surprised. They have lots of greenery, but it’s brownish and not so lush. A few hundred miles makes a big difference.

One of things I found interesting when I visited parks in the UK are these dedication plates on benches.

Yes, just about every bench in our local park has one – and on Mothers’ Day they all had flowers.

Lovely sitting spot 🙂 We have benches along the Katy Trail behind my home at various points. Makes a nice way to take a lengthy walk.

Lovely! I have been thinking a lot lately about how to remember people…and how to be remembered. This is a sweet reminder of one of the many possibilities.

No, I have no idea who she was! I just liked the inscription and the beautiful way the bench was positioned.
