A couple of months ago, I was happy to report on my first meet-up with fellow travel bloggers – Corinne and Jim Vail of Reflections Enroute. I was delighted  when Corinne subsequently asked me to be interviewed for their Rendezvous with Rovers series and the results were published this week. What did I say? Some things you will have heard about already, plus a few hints about journeys which have still to be written up for public consumption.   1. Yup, late catching up on my blog reading again. Great interview. I’m trying to convince Jimmy that we should make it to all 50 states. We spent about 1/2 hour this summer so he could cross Nebraska off the list (I was there for Christmas vacation 1980). Definitely a state one could skip or maybe I’m missing something. 21 is amazing for someone who lives in any other country. I’ve only been to 37!

  3. That was a great interview and, even though you were out of shape, you were able to climb! I am envious of what you can do and I love reading all about it. I think, you should take in the fall colours one year and come to Canada-Algonquinn Park or Agawa Canyon. In Europe, my Aunt lives in Brixen (Bressenone) in Northern Italy and it is a beautiful small town but with many riches. There are many great castles around, hiking trails and scenic drives

  5. Great interview! I have met a few fellow writers/bloggers in person, and it’s really fun! During the A-Z challenge I met a woman who lives just 45 minutes or so away, and we’ve gotten together a few times. Last year I met a fellow author in Wales…she and I had been communicating for several years.

    We also like the small B&Bs and places like that to stay. Sounds like we have a similar travel style in many respects!

    I don’t know if you’ve made it to western Washington, but it’s a great place to put on your list. We have incredible views of both mountains and water.

    • Thanks Nadine! I have been to Seattle, but that’s all. We considered Washington State another year but couldn’t get flights at the right time. We use Airmiles so sometimes where we end up is dictated by serendipity. One day we will come!
