Advent Day 6: Snowman
On Christmas Eve 2019 we took a stroll to the nearby area of Scotstoun to view its Living Advent Calendar. Each evening in December, one more window had been illuminated. On the 24th, we got to see them all.
Number 6 features Raymond Briggs’ Snowman.
Now that’s much better than yesterday’s!

Much more Christmassy! I’m a Raymond Briggs fan, though I prefer Father Christmas to the Snowman, though partly that’s because the film made the latter a bit saccharine.

I love this, how it looks like it’s snowing inside the house, and that snowman!

Very well doe, isn’t it? Not sure if this Snowman is known in the US or not (it’s a book and a film).

It looks familiar, but maybe all Snowmen look alike? 🙂

I love this one too. My daughters owned the book when they were little.

Excellent window with the whole scene not just the snowman. Love it. And can’t wait for the next day.

Cold enough just now for them. If you want to see a new snowman mini clip check out Katie Melua Perfect World Video. A real Christmas gem of a short animation done with sugar cubes..

Just about! Certainly icy.
