Advent Day 20: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
On Christmas Eve 2019 we took a stroll to the nearby area of Scotstoun to view its Living Advent Calendar. Each evening in December, one more window had been illuminated. On the 24th, we got to see them all.
Number 20 – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
It certainly is . . . . as you able to see mum on the day?

Very cute! Not quite like here where it’s hot and humid with a thunderstorm in the evening. 🙂

That would never look quite like Christmas to me, but I suppose I’d get used to it! Actually, it doesn’t look like the window here earthed. Dull and wet 😟.

And I can’t imagine what a cold, white Christmas would be like. My parents did a trip one year at Christmas to Germany and Austria. They said it was beautiful.

Thunder, rain and cold with it. Yes, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. 2020 is not going quietly.

It’s amazing what ordinary folk can do when given a chance and motivated. An artist I knew once told me that if children were given large pieces of paper and encouraged to draw, they would produce better work than in notebooks. I think he was right.

Yes, I can see that is likely. This project has brought a lot of talent.
