April Squares: Whistlers Summit

This has to be one of my favourite pictures of us, even though you can’t see our faces. We’re on top of the world, on Whistlers Summit in Jasper National Park, looking out on Mount Edith Cavell. Thank you Parks Canada for the beautiful red chairs!

  1. I have been to Whistler but never to the top. This is a nice photo..perfect actually because you both just love being together and don’t have to say much but enjoy the view

  2. I can see why you like that photo….It’s a great one, with the two of you looking over that great view. I agree with the comment above, I think I’d frame this one!

  3. Wow what a great photo. Whistler mountain is one the best places I’ve ever been, absolutely loved it there and the ride up to the top was amazing. Wonderful views everywhere.

  4. That is a lovely picture, Anabel! The chairs look comfy too! I just ordered some for our garden so we can at least sit outside (since we only moved in September, we haven’t really done anything to it yet) but just got cheapo folding ones since I’d rather wait until I can actually leave the house and shop around a bit before committing to anything expensive. They should be delivered just in time for this warm spell to end, naturally!

  5. Love the picture but it set my mind to humming “Climb Every Mountain” and I can’t get it out of my head!

  6. Love the chairs! And an unusual photo. I like the way you have themed this month’s challenge. You have certainly climbed a lot of mountains ☺️

  7. Hi Anabel – how delightful … and yes beautiful red chairs. Interesting name they chose … I can see why though … as it was named in 1916 – the year she was killed. Beautiful day you had … cheers Hilary
