Hebridean Hop 22: returning home

The journey home and some reflections on our Hebridean Hop.

In which we spend our last day on Barra at Kisimul Castle and around Northbay. In the rain.

A glorious day exploring Barra’s beaches.

In which we revisit old haunts and get very wet.

In which we catch the ferry to Barra and visit the most beautiful airport in the world.

In which we have a wet walk from moor to machair.

In which we explore Rubha Aird a’ Mhuile and Howmore.

In which we climb a hill, and finally see seals (though not at the same time).

In which we follow the circular road around North Uist.

In which we explore a prehistoric site, a modern museum, and beaches. There are always beaches!

In which we take a walk round Eriskay, and a trip down Memory Lane.
