Walled Garden
Gallivanting in my home city and further afield. Words by me, photos (mainly) by him. The good ones anyway!

That’s sad. I haven’t been back, I don’t think, since I posted this in 2013!

After work I used to come and sit in the walled garden only to discover that as I finish work at 5pm and by the time I make it along to enjoy the lovely flowers and the peace and quiet to discover it now closes its gate at 6pm.
I am very disappointed at this. Is this the council cut backs?

6pm! That seems very early at this time of year when it is light for so long. I live near the Botanic Gardens and they are open much longer than that. But, as you say, probably council cutbacks. A shame!
