Interesting building
Gallivanting in my home city and further afield. Words by me, photos (mainly) by him. The good ones anyway!

I lived in the building just off to the left where the silver Renault Espace is. I was the son of the then village police officer when we lived here from 1978-1983 and I was 7-12 years old. I spent so many happy hours living there and used to love flying down the back road (right of picture) into the Salmon Inn gravel car park on my raleigh chopper bike and ruin the tyres skidding. This building was the old courthouse and round the back was the remnants of a stables from so long ago. I have been back here once in 2004 and saw that the court house rear was converted to a house that was occupied but the back of our house was all over-grown again just like when we had moved in which was heart-breaking as my dad had transformed it from the jungle it was. Thankyou for this picture!

Thanks for those lovely memories, and for telling me what the building was.
