January Light: pastels
This terrace on Great Western Road, Glasgow, is part of the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel. In recent months, the hotel has chosen to floodlight it in pretty pastel colours. Perfect for Day 4 of Becky’s January Squares Challenge: words ending in light. Follow the link to find out more!
Doesn’t the lightning make these elegant buildings look pretty.

Glorious pastels Anabel, is the hotel as glorious inside?!

I’ve not been in the rooms, just the public areas which are attractive but maybe not quite as spectacular!

Good interpretation of the challenge. I’d like to see it in person.

What a fab photo 🙂 I love the architecture of the terrace and the floodlight colours are lovely – it must look great ‘in the flesh’ 🙂

It does! Great Western Road is lined with many grand terraces like this. Most divided into flats now.

I know, very considerate – and they must have second sight because I took this in October or November just because I liked it!
