January Light: tealight
Not the usual meaning of tealight! An interesting use of tea-pots at the café at Applecross House. Linked to Becky’s January Squares challenge: words ending in light.

Gallivanting in my home city and further afield. Words by me, photos (mainly) by him. The good ones anyway!

I was tricked into thinking I was going to see some candles burning. 🙂 What a clever idea this is.

Though as others have pointed out, they probably don’t let out much light and there is severe danger of head clocking!

You’d only crash into them once!

Now those are tealights! I’d make some for my kitchen if the ceiling wasn’t so low, but I don’t fancy bashing my head on a teapot every day!

I think we were in serious danger! Fortunately, my natural clumsiness didn’t manifest itself so I didn’t end up with a bashed head.

What a great idea and how good do they look? Love things like that where common household items are turned and used in completely different ways. Really good.

Nice querky use of old teapots. Very green. Reuse top of the waste hierarchy!

Inspired upcycling, though I’m not sure how much light they give out. Inspired choice of word too 😁

Nice and sunny when we were there! Maybe they would give off a soft, romantic light at dusk.
