WalkingSquares: Leith Hall

Memorial bench, Leith Hall

Yesterday’s walk was dark, wet and miserable so for Becky’s WalkingSquares challenge today I have a flashback to last week which we spent in a cottage in Aberdeenshire. I was looking for something squarable with trees, but as yesterday’s bench attracted some comment, I thought I’d stick with the theme! This one is in the grounds of Leith Hall where we had a lovely amble through the gardens and along the woodland walk. The unsquared dedication is below.

  1. For our 25th Anniversary my sister bought us a bench for the garden. The brass plate has been worn over the years. Have been meaning to replace it. Now that benches have been mentioned and are now stuck in my mind. I will get it done over the weekend.
