Post boxes of Malta

While I sort through the hundreds of photos from our recent trip to Malta I’m sharing a few posts with snapshots of generic themes that I like to look out for. Because of Malta’s past as part of the British Empire its red post boxes looked very familiar. The first few shown below I also photographed with their backgrounds, while the last gallery shows some in isolation.

  5. I do like a nice red post box, especially ones in unexpected places. The panels in that grey front door remind me of a very glum face, and I see the G R one was made in Scotland. Favourite is the last one though, I like the view down the street.
