January Light: lightship
Another guiding-light today – not a lighthouse, but a lightship. North Carr is the last remaining Scottish lightship and has been moored in Dundee since 2007. Linked to Becky’s square photography challenge, January Light, words ending in light.
I think you should go ahead and include all the lighthouses and lightships you want! I like them too!

Ah well, maybe one or two more will sneak in before the end of the month!

Hello.
How nice to notice that there is a lightship! We have in the harbor in Helsinki one. 🙂
Enjoy your day!

Welcome to Helsinki! If possible, visit then to some of our colorful small towns, where houses are made of wood!

I love this picture of this boat and the history it carries. The colours just pop with the grey of the background.

Yes, it works well as a square I think. There was a lot more grey water to the left before.

I nearly posted a shot of this but wasn’t brave enough to break the rules! I may have summoned the courage before the month is out – especially if I run out of _light images 🙂
I visited it about a year ago and also heard it would be renovated.

I was emboldened by seeing much worse rule breaking! I think I will be bending a few more.
